Dee Dee Bridgewater

Dee Dee Bridgewater is a Grammy and Tony Award-winning jazz legend, celebrated for her distinctive voice and fearless reinvention of jazz standards. Over her four-decade career, she has collaborated with jazz icons like Max Roach, Sonny Rollins, and Dizzy Gillespie, and earned acclaim for her Grammy-winning album Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie With Love From Dee Dee. A versatile artist, Bridgewater is also a Tony Award-winning musical theater star, known for her role in The Wiz. In addition to her musical contributions, she is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and founded The Woodshed Network to support women in jazz. She continues to perform globally and mentor the next generation of musicians.
