With La Volte, Dorian Dumont brings to life a project he’s been developing for years. Building on his work with his group ECHT!, which breaks down the boundaries between jazz, electronic music, and hip-hop, and his solo piano project "Dorian Dumont plays Aphex Twin," Dorian takes his musical explorations to a new level. La Volte blends diverse influences such as drum and bass, bass music, hip-hop, ambient, and jazz, pushing genre boundaries even further. His goal is to create organic club music using only acoustic instruments, without relying on effects or electronics. Alongside two drummers and a bassist, Dorian Dumont bridges the gap between electronic and acoustic music, offering a fresh, modern sonic experience.
