Luke Una

A true underground icon, Luke Una has been shaping dance music culture for over four decades. From his early days as a Sheffield house young blood in the mid-80s to becoming a key figure in Manchester’s electronic scene, his genre-spanning sets have taken him across the globe. As one half of The Unabombers, Luke helped define UK club culture through The Electric Chair, a legendary night that hosted the likes of Theo Parrish, Harvey, and Moodymann. His deep musical ethos later extended into The Elektrons, Homoelectric, and the massive Homobloc festival, pushing boundaries in music and LGBTQ+ culture. His cult-status radio show on Worldwide FM showcased everything from spiritual jazz to deep bass futurism, evolving into the É Soul Cultura compilations and record label with Mr Bongo. Recent projects like "Everything Above The Sky" and festival takeovers prove that Luke is still at the cutting edge. Having graced the decks at Glastonbury, Houghton, We Out Here, Fabric, and Panorama Bar, Luke Una continues to bridge the legacy of the past with the energy of the now—always delivering pure, unfiltered dancefloor magic.
