ESINAM and Sibusile Xaba are two kindred musical spirits, blending their distinct African heritages into a mesmerizing fusion of rhythms, grooves, and vocal chanting. Hailing from Belgium-Ghana (Esinam) and Kwazulu Natal-South Africa (Sibusile Xaba), their music tells stories that span the past and the future, creating a trance-like experience for their listeners. The duo first connected in 2018 during Esinam’s solo European tour, leading to a collaboration on her debut album Shapes in Twilights of Infinity. Their partnership deepened at the 2022 WOMAD Festival in South Africa, and in 2023, they recorded and toured across Europe, with their debut single/EP set for release in March 2024, followed by a full album.
