Glass Beams
Glass Beams, the musical project of Rajan Silva, draws inspiration from childhood memories of his father, who emigrated from India to Melbourne in the late 1970s. One formative memory, watching Concert for George in 2002, sparked his deep connection to the cross-pollination of East and West. This influence is woven into Glass Beams' music, blending live instrumentation with DIY electronica to create a timeless fusion of cultures and sounds. Their debut EP Mirage and breakout Mahal have captured the attention of millions worldwide, gaining popularity through streaming platforms and social media. Expanding from a solo project to a trio, Glass Beams have sold out every show on their European and North American tours.
