Marcos Valle regrets to announce that he must cancel all scheduled performances in Europe for June and July 2025 due to unforeseen medical circumstances involving his wife, Patricia Alvi.

Following a necessary but routine surgery, Patricia’s doctors have advised that she will need time to rest and recover, making international touring during this period unfeasible. Thankfully, she is expected to make a full recovery. Patricia is not only a key member of Marcos' band but also plays a vital role in managing all of his musical activities. A Marcos Valle tour simply cannot happen without her.

Marcos Valle is a true icon of Brazilian music. With a career spanning over six decades, he has masterfully blended genres like bossa nova, funk, and jazz, influencing artists and audiences around the world.

We completely understand if this news is disappointing — it is for us too. We want to emphasise that this cancellation is beyond our control, and we thank you for your understanding. We’re already working on welcoming Marcos back to Jazz Middelheim next year.
